ISO is pleased to announce a resource for reporting Proof of Coverage (POC) information electronically to the Oregon Workers' Compensation Division (WCD). Electronic reporting for accepted POC reports eliminate the need to file the equivalent paper report.

In the coming months, WCD will be implementing EDI for Proof of Coverage. WCD intends to base its EDI program on the national standards developed by the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions. ISO ClaimPort offers the option of receiving the Workers Compensation Policy Reporting Specifications (WCPOLS) reports and extracting the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions (IAIABC) Proof of Coverage data requirements for transmission to WCD, provides an online Internet service for submission to WCD and provides an electronic acknowledgement with either service. At this point, WCD doesn't advocate making EDI mandatory, but may need to revisit this issue in the future.
