Florida Division of Workers' Compensation Drafts Rules to Mandate IAIABC POC Release 2 - March 2002

The Florida Division of Workers' Compensation will become the first state to mandate the IAIABC Proof of Coverage (POC) Release 2. The significance from IAIABC Release 1 to IAIABC Release 2 is the addition of two (2) additional data elements.

The ISO ClaimPort POC Reporting System has been enhanced to accommodate this new release.

ISO ClaimPort Online Reporter will have two (2) new fields to view and enter data once FL is selected from the Jurisdiction Drop Down Menu:

Minimum Premium Indicator (Values):
1 = Non- Minimum Premium Policy
2 = Minimum Premium Policy

Employee Leasing (Values):
1 = Non-Employee Leasing Policy
2 = Employee Leasing Policy - Employee Leasing Company and Client Companies (Master Policy)
3 = Employee Leasing Policy - Employee Leasing Company only (Multiple Coordinated Policy)
4 = Employee Leasing Policy - Client Company only (Multiple Coordinated Policy)

ISO ClaimPort Transmitter will map the Minimum Premium Indicator and Employee Leasing values from WCPOLS to the appropriate positions in the IAIABC POC PC1 Record.
