POC Acknowledgment (AK1) Receipt Options:

Options for receiving acknowledgments:

ISO Transmitter:

Option 1: Receive IAIABC POC Flat File Acknowledgment electronically using the ISO Transmitter.
Option 2: The Business Contact will receive an email alert indicating availability for POC Acknowledgment Report. Using the Internet and Browser: go to a predefined secured area to view/download the POC Acknowledgment Report.

ISO Online Reporter:

Option: Log into your companies ISO Online Reporter system to view POC Online Reporter Acknowledgments.

Other Options:

Other options may be determined based on trading partner system abilities.

POC Acknowledgment Types:

The ISO POC System will provide three unique types of AK1 transactions within an IAIABC POC Standard Acknowledgment (AK1) batch. A batch will consist of 1 Header Record (HD1), 1 or more Acknowledgment Records (AK1) and 1 Trailer Record (TR1). A file can consist of one or more batches. Refer to the IAIABC POC Implementation Guide for specific details.
The three unique types of AK1 transactions that you can expect to receive which correspond to WCPOLS records as applicable to the Jurisdiction are: 1) WCPOLS AK1 2) ISO POC System TR AK1 and 3) Jurisdiction AK1.

WCPOLS AK1: Each WCPOLS record that cannot be mapped to IAIABC Standard PC1/PC2 transaction will be acknowledged and is based on the Reject Codes and Descriptions:

Application Acknowledgment Code - DN111

Definition: A code used to identify the accepted / rejected status of the transaction being acknowledged.

TW = Transaction Rejected by Service Provider: Insufficient data to map WCPOLS to IAIABC POC file.
TN = Transaction Rejected by Service Provider: Fails Jurisdiction Mandatory Requirements.
TR = Transaction Rejected by Jurisdiction
TE = Transaction Accepted with Errors by Jurisdiction
TA = Transaction Accepted by Jurisdiction

Acknowledgment Transaction Set ID - DN110

Definition: The transaction set identifier that identifies the transaction being acknowledged.

POC = POC Transaction (currently in place)
WCP = WCPOLS Transaction

***Relational Errors:

By design, POC transactions are nested based on the submission requirements of a given transaction. When an error occurs on a record or records within the nested record structure, the error causes other records which are not in error to be rejected: these are shown as errors with Invalid Relationship.
